I used a windows 7 圆4 PC for recording and mixing.Vocals were also done with the MXL 3000.We used the kick drum one included with the kit on the bass amp. I also opted out of the included pencil condensors for the overheads and used an MXL 992 and also swapped out the kick drum mic with a better shure brand one. Drums are (i think) a yamaha stage custom and were mic'd with a cheap CAD drum kit mic set up.I doubled the guitar tracks on distortion using a different pick up for each track. Marshall JCM 900 with a 1977 ibanez lawsuit guitar (les paul knock off) I also used a compression pedal with it, which in hind sight, was too much.I mic'd it using a kick drum mic, unfortunately we didnt have a D/I for it. a peavy solid state bass amp with a peavy bass.(programs nobody uses anymore, im sure, but im poor and that was all i had). the recording program was adobe audition and i also have access to sony soundforge for mastering.
